I just got back from a bit of a road trip in Queensland and had to do a post on all the fabulous "Big Things" that the state has to offer. Unfortunatley I did miss quite a few such as the big pineapple, big macadamia nut and the big bundy rum bottle.... such a cultured country we live in

Let there be light

I am totally in love with this fantastic light shade. It is laser cut metal that just wraps around the bare bulb. I think it would look so perfect in my house and being a renter it means I won't have to go drilling holes in the ceiling..... but alas it is not available in Australia! Dammit!!

Happy New Year!!

New years eve was spent at a house party in Neutral Bay. Finally we had some great weather and I was able to wear the 'I Ken Done It" Dress without fear of freezing.
We headed to Cremorne Point to watch the midnight fireworks and on the way back I managed to tread in a pile of mud (well i hope it was mud anyway) and ruined my shoes, luckily I had the forsight to wear cheap flat ones!!
Unfortunatly I forgot to take an outfit pic at the begining of the night, so I only have this one where I don't look too messy....
