bargain!
As I mentioned earlier I am off overseas next week, and I was stressing about the fact we are being wined and dined by our clients/agents overseas. Which means lots of fancy dinners and even fancier outfits. I am normally fine with these kind of outfits, but we happen to be going to New York and London, which are still freezing!!! I was stressing about what shoes to wear back with tights, but lucky me I just found the bargain of the century at Market City. I found these siren shoes reduced from $150 to $49.95. I figure they don't look too bad with stockings.
I am off to another dress up party tonight. This time it is "Pirates". I will try and remember to take a full outfit shot this time.

Overseas Trip
I am off overseas for a trend forcasting trip next week. And for the first time we are including New York! Super excited!!!
Does anybody have any suggestions of little boutiques, great vintage shops, nice bars, cafes etc that I have to go to??
Also any tips on LA or London too.... Always looking for more great places to shop.

I am a butterfly
I went to a dress up party last night themed Animalistic. I went as a butterfly.
Sorry I am such a bag blogger and totally forgot to get a shot with my full outfit!
I found this fantastically tacky dress in an op shop in Hurstville for $5, and teamed it back with some gigantic butterfly wings and a head band. I did have a glittery mask too but didn't actually wear it.
The wings were so big that I had to walk side ways through doors and kept poking people and knocking their drinks, so they didnt stay on for long!

Shop Til You Drop
Our first ever magazine ads for both Minkpink and Quirky Circus are in this months Shop Til You Drop mag.....
The Quirky one is especially exciting for me as I designed the whole thing.... clothes, styling, graphics... Yay!
It's so funny: in the Minkpink office we got so excited when we got this in the mail today... but we hardly ever get excited about our clothes in mags though.
